Visit the Museum!

For an affordable family outing, you can’t beat the Museum at Keewaydin! Student admission is only $1, and kids under 5 are free!

We’re also offering six days of free admission over the summer! Everyone can visit the museum for free from 12-4pm on June 14, June 19, July 12, July 18, August 16, August 20.

We’re open Wednesday 12-4:30pm, Thursday through Saturday 12pm to 4pm. Call to inquire about an appointment outside of or normal hours 509-582-7704. Last admissions are 30 minutes before closing.

We will be closed on July 19 to attend a funeral.

  • The Museum at Keewaydin is proud to participate in the Blue Star Museum program, Museums for All and the Richland Library Pass. You can find more information here.

  • At the Museum at Keewaydin we have many things that children and adults can touch, play and interact with. Look the symbols throughout the museum that designate touch, don’t touch, ask to touch and welcome to play.

  • Service animals are allowed in the museum. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Pets are not permitted. Therapy animals, emotional support animals, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act and are not permitted in the museum.

  • We do not allow food or drink in the museum with the exception of water in a container with a lid. Visitors will be asked to dispose of food or drinks before entering the Museum, with exceptions made for medical and other concerns. You are welcome to step outside for lunch or a snack and return to the museum.

  • Still photography is permitted for personal, noncommercial use for most exhibits. We ask that you do not photograph the Native display.

  • Free parking is available in our lot during your visit.
